I'm a web/UI/Front End Developer with a love of all things digital. I enjoy the challenge of turning complex problems into simple solutions. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Digital Multimedia from Andrews University and a programming certificate in Web Development from Valencia College. I have three years of experience working for Hilton as a multimedia developer and another three from Adventist University of Health Sciences. Currently, I work as a freelance web junkie in Orlando, FL. Implementing best practices, and creating a dynamic, streamlined user experience, is something I strive for in every project.
I was with ADU for almost three years as a multimedia and web content developer. While working for the University, I worked on a variety of projects and in a variety of roles. My primary function was to create and update content for the University's website, using the Drupal CMS. In addition to my primary role, I created and programmed an interactive Flash virtual tour of the campus for the main website. On several occasions I produced, shot, and edited promotional videos for online deployment. I would frequently design marketing materials for department and campus use. And, many times I would take photos for marketing materials as well as for use online and in magazines.
From 2005 to 2008 I worked at HGVC as a Multimedia Developer and designer. During that time I worked on a wide range of projects from website designs and updates to video editing and photography. My team was in charge of designing, developing, and deploying interactive kiosks and POS systems throughout HGVC resort properties and sales centers nationwide.
